The president of the Cabildo de Fuerteventura, Sergio Lloret, has recognized the Common deputy, Rafael Yanes, that “it is not easy” to end the noise from the Gran Tarajal desalination plant that neighbors have denounced.
President of Fuerteventura, Sergio Lloret informed the Common deputy that the Fuerteventura Water Supply Consortium (CAAF) is currently working on solving the problem, but stressed its difficulty "since there are houses built literally next to the infrastructure."
Yanes visited Fuerteventura on Tuesday for a first institutional meeting with the new government team of the Insular Corporation, made up of AMF, Coalición Canaria and Partido Popular.
The deputy of the Common took advantage of the meeting with Sergio Lloret and the spokespersons of CC (Lola García) and PP (Claudio Gutiérrez) to request an office on the Island, where the Institution can directly attend to the demands of the citizens of Majorera.
During the meeting, in which the first deputy to the Common Deputy, Felipe Afonso, also participated, the president of the Cabildo stressed that this type of meeting facilitates inter-institutional collaboration, “so necessary to jointly undertake the resolution of many of the problems that affect to the women and men of our island ”.
Likewise, he undertook to coordinate from the Cabinet of the Presidency the management of the complaints that the citizens of Majorera send to the Diputación del Común, “to improve and expedite their processing, and that we achieve a better service and a faster response to each person".
