"This festival has a great impact on the economy of our municipality, because it will be a shock to the commercial, hotel and restaurant sectors. The Arena Negra Festival is also a demonstration of the cultural potential of Gran Tarajal, of the capacity that As a town, we have the ability to organize and host large events", highlighted the Mayor Esther Hernández.

The president of the Insular Corporation, Sergio Lloret, highlighted the "total predisposition" of the Island Council to collaborate with "this tremendous festival, in whose first edition I had the honor of promoting it as mayor of the municipality of Tuineje, and the happiness of attending the enormous registered success, more than 22,000 people. It is great news that it has been possible to recover the event in 2022 and, taking into account the current socioeconomic moment, after the health crisis, I am sure that recovering the Black Arena will be very positive for the economy of the municipality of Tuineje and that of the entire island of Fuerteventura".

The Councilor for Culture of the Cabildo, Rayco León, explained that "this festival honors the cultural activity and movement that has always existed in the town of Gran Tarajal and in the municipality of Tuineje, with a proposal that must have continuity over time as tourist and cultural attraction in Fuerteventura".

"From the Ministry of Culture we are available for everything that an event of these characteristics requires," added León.

For his part, the Councilor for Commerce, Cristofer Jaime, has stressed "the high economic impact that this festival has on the commerce of the municipality, which is a stimulus for the commercial fabric due to the high influx of public that is expected in the two days of festival".

Esther Hernández took advantage of the occasion to remark that "the authorization to install the stage on this beach has already been processed with the Provincial Directorate of Coasts of Las Palmas. We trust that this time the authorization will be granted."
